Hello! I am an independent journalist from the west coast of Turtle Island who enjoys spelunking into rabbit-holes and dragging readers down with me. I have degrees in biology and journalism, am an experienced instructor in both subjects, and I have published in both newspapers and peer-reviewed scientific journals. I have has been blogging about science, history, and current events since 2009. Over the years I have become convinced that a global socialist revolution is an imperative of the utmost urgency.
